Your attention to detail and quick action in identifying the uninspected rigging, improperly secured shackles, incorrect sling usage, lack of a lift plan, and unsecured chain fall exemplifies the kind of proactive safety culture we strive for. By stopping the job, addressing the concern with the lifting authority, and ensuring the tote was safely lowered and the rigging removed, you not only corrected a potentially hazardous situation but also set a strong example for the team.  Also, by taking the time to enter this observation you allowed many others to learn from this situation.  It is always a blessing when we can learn from situations where no one was hurt or injured.   This intervention and coaching are exactly what we are looking for and the epitome of what our Live Safe Culture is all about.  Thanks again for your commitment to HSE.   [![305 IFO Days Strong: The Impact of Jody Fontenot](https://www.indsafetysolutions.com/hubfs/BlogPhotoPossible%205.28.256.png)](https://www.indsafetysolutions.com/blog/305-ifo-days-strong-the-impact-of-jody-fontenot) 1 min read #### [305 IFO Days Strong: The Impact of Jody Fontenot](https://www.indsafetysolutions.com/blog/305-ifo-days-strong-the-impact-of-jody-fontenot) [Leadership](https://www.indsafetysolutions.com/blog/author/leadership), [Client Feedback](https://www.indsafetysolutions.com/blog/author/client-feedback) : May 28, 2026, 12:50:03 PM I wanted to take a moment to express how much I’ve genuinely enjoyed working alongside Jody Fontenot.
